Introduction

A music quiz with a twist
Forget the typical setting with questions on song titles and artists. Instead, Quiztopher has made fun, clever and sometimes unexpected clues linked to each song. Your goal: match each clue to the right song. Get ready to think outside the box and test your music knowledge like never before!

How to play

The game master and the players
  • The game master controls the music and which clue to be played, using Spotify as playback. Spotify opens automatically when playing next clue. Game master is not competing with the other players.
  • The players guess THE correct alternative that is associated with the song played - only one correct answer. Association can be song title, artist / band name etc.
Scoring system
  • First CORRECT answer always yields 100 points, then a timer starts (60 seconds). The faster you answer, the more points you get. The points decrease linearly from 100 to 20 during the 60 seconds. After 60 seconds you get 0 points.
  • Wrong answers yield 0 points.
  • Timer does not start after a wrong answer.
Game rounds
  • Each game consists of 8 rounds. There are always 2 dummy clues.
  • With each round the number of possible alternatives are reduced making it easier to guess.

Pricing

  • The game master selects which game to play. Free quiz 1 and Free quiz 2 are free, the other quizzes can be bought for 3 USD and are available for 12 hours.
  • For 4 USD per month OR 24 USD per year, you unlock all quizzes and can also make your own private quizzes.
  • Only game master pays for the game or is Premium user. Unlimited number of players can join.

  • You can create a profile and save your game statistics and choose a nickname and avatar.
